A grainy video — shot inside a Florida jail in 2008 — shows Casey Anthony‘s reaction when she was told her daughter’s remains were found.
In the video, Anthony is in the waiting room of the jail’s medical facility, when she looks up at a TV screen and sees a news report on the discovery of Caylee’s remains. Casey appears to double over with her hands in her lap and then appears to breathe heavily.
The footage had been under lock and key since 2009 for fear it might influence the jury.

Doing what he can to help those in need, Jay-Z hosted a carnival at the Hudson River Park pier for his Shawn Carter Foundation on Thursday (September 29).
The ?Run This Town? rapper donned an all-black ensemble as he posed for pictures on the red carpet before heading inside for the festivities.
During the event, Jay-Z opened up about the purpose of his foundation, as he told MTV News, “Just providing opportunity and seeing what people do with that opportunity. If you want to go further and you want to further your education, just giving someone that extra little push [so] that maybe you’ll turn out to be someone special.”
Mentioning his mother, Gloria Carter, who helped start the foundation in 2002, the star singer added, ?My mom has been running this for a number of years,” said Jay. “My mom gets on the bus and takes the kids and takes them to their orientations and she’s been riding around the college. It’s a real grassroots thing that she’s been doing on her own, and I’m just really trying to help her expand it so we can help more people. It started out as a Brooklyn thing, and then it started as a New York thing, and now hopefully we can take it to a worldwide thing.”

Celebrity cookbooks have been around for a long time. No matter what the subject or discipline, celebrities, especially actors and actresses, think they know enough to share their wisdom with the rest of us. Some actually do know something, but for the most part, they know as much as you or I do. So when it comes to celebrity cookbooks, success is more determined by good editors and ensuring that recipes are spelled out properly with full lists of ingredients, procedures, and instructions. Otherwise, you can get a real mess, such as the 1940 classic cookbook, ?Specialites de la Maison?, which has recipes from everybody who was anybody of that era, including Katherine Hepburn, Helen Keller, Christian Dior and even Eleanor Roosevelt.
My experience with this celebrity cookbook began after watching an episode of ?Anna and Katherine?s Grocery Bag? on the Oprah Winfrey Network. OWN airs two half-hour episodes every Saturday morning starting at 6am EDT. The premise of their show is to buy a popular cookbook and then actually make several dishes from it. Then they have a taste testing from a profession chef. Most of the time the dishes fall short and the ladies get discouraged, blaming the poor instructions in the book. But the exercise is a worthy one for those who want an accurate book review before making a purchase.
?Specialites de la Maison? is an interesting celebrity cookbook for historical reasons. The project was begun in 1940 by a group called Friends of France and the book?s purpose was to raise money to help refugees in France, which had just been conquered by Nazi Germany. In addition to recipes, the book does offer some great stories and insights into life in Hollywood and New York high society during those by gone days. But the recipes themselves are a joke. Some leave out key ingredients and instruction steps which make preparing the meals nearly impossible. Another aspect to consider is that people had different tastes back then, not to mention loading every dish with butter, salt, and other items frowned upon these days. So if you want great celebrity cookbook stories, this book is a must buy, but forget about impressing your culinary friends. The book is available today from any of a number of retailers.

Hooters claims another restaurant chain stole its trade secrets … no, not chicken wings … it’s another part of the bird.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Hooters claims a former VP defected to a competing company — La Cima Restaurants, LLCÂ which is now developing a competing boob-intensive chain called “Twin Peaks” — but before he left he allegedly pilfered some highly-sensitive documents which serve as a business road map.
Hooters contends Joseph Hummel, the alleged Benedict Arnold of large and often artificial brests, is now in possession of plans related to management, recruitment, distribution and sales. As for recruitment, we’re thinking it should be kinda obvious.
Hooters wants a judge to order La Cima to fire Hummel and to ignore whatever they now know about Hooters based on the sensitive documents. Good luck with that one.

The former “Friends” star was all bundled up for the cooling fall weather as she eased down the Big Apple streets while toting a bottle of her SmartWater in-hand.
Meanwhile, coming up on Monday, October 17th, Miss Aniston will be among the stars to be honored at the 18th ELLE Women in Hollywood gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Aside from Jen, big names such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis, Evan Rachel Wood, Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto will also be recognized at the annual event.

She?s always up for a fashion event, and Olivia Palermo attended the Christian Dior Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2012 show as a part of the Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France on Friday (September 30).
The former reality TV star dazzled in nothing but Dior duds as she posed for pictures ahead of the event held at Musee Rodin.
In related news, Olivia will be offering up her fashion tips and advice by launching a ?lifestyle? blog next week.
She told Fashionista.co, “It will be more of a lifestyle blog for sure. I’ll touch on the designers I love and trends I see on the street – like snaps of really cool girls I see in Tokyo.
