Online Poker Players Seek out Weak Online Poker Players

April 20, 2008

Seek Out Weaker Online Poker PlayersOnline poker rooms differ from live action poker games in a lot of ways. You may have an impression of a poker room – a small, crowded place in a casino where players are sitting at a table, smoking and playing poker.

With the huge growth of online poker sites over the past 7-8 years, you might be very surprised to actually see who your opponents in fact are. If you manage to play between 300-500 hands a day of online poker, you will definitely have an advantage over the average player. Now if you do play this many hands, you will probably get a sense of who else is playing a lot of online poker.

You are not alone if you spend multiple hours in a day playing poker online. Retired women, men students in college and all in between enjoy spending their time in “virtual poker rooms”

Figuring out who your opponents are early on when you sit at a table can be instrumental in ensuring you have the best odds at winning. Online poker players have skills that range from superb to just downright terrible. You are better off seeking out who these “terrible” players are. They are often referred to as “fish”.

There are many software packages out there that can scan online data banks live, and in real time, so help you determine what the best tables are to sit at.

Wait no longer and guess no longer as to who your opponents are. Don’t go swimming with sharks when you can tread water with the chubs. Gain an upper hand when playing online poker players
